El canal/ Tijuana River

En la canalización del río Tijuana, un afluente que separa la frontera norte mexicana de California, habitan cientos de migrantes que por una u otra razón han ido a parar a este lugar. La mayoría eran migrantes y de alguna manera lo siguen siendo. Son marginados, los ven mal porque están sucios, porque consumen drogas. No se piensa que tal vez lo hacen para escapar por algunos momentos de su terrible realidad. Los habitantes del canal son extranjeros en su propio suelo, viven en el limbo del migrante.

The Tijuana river channel is the delta dividing Northern Mexico from California. Hundreds of people now live in that channel, due to one reason or another, most of them where inmigrants and in a way they still are. They are marginalized, they are look down because they are dirty and use drugs. It is believed they do so to escape their harsh reality for a little while. Those who live in the channel are foreign in their own soil, living in migrant limbo.
